Issue 

Unable to Reset and Recover password in 9.4 Beta 2

Steps to Replicate

  1. Navigate to "User Maintenace" in ESS.
  2. For user "Alvis", tick the box for "Reset password and send the new password to the registered email address"
  3. System updates message "User details updated. Password Changed".
  4. However, email is not sent.
  5. Check the Event Log for error.

Development work for this case has been completed.
The change will be available in version: 94BETA3

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Corrected the issue where a null value is passed in the FROM Address and AttachmentContent. This is the case when email password is recovered as there are no attachments.

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. Null value in FROM address and AttachmentContent

    Verified the following:

    1. Reset password - email is sent successfully.
    2. Recover password - email is sent successfully.
