Subject: EMS File Corrections in Version 11.
Summary:    

Hi Team, 

The following was discussed between Sitla and FRCS, 

  1. PayDay EMS reporting has been postponed to mid 2020.
    1. Users need to submit details in the format of  "EMS file prior to JAN 2020" as per  version 11.
  2. However, clients will use the PAYE formula updates made in July 2019.
Issue:
  1. FRCS has rejected the EMS file for prior 2020 format.
    1. The Header and Details length is 251 when it should be 250.
Please find attached the EMS file format and current output file.

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Corrected the TaxID length in the EMS 2019 file submission format to 9 characters.
  2. The TaxID length is increased to 10 characters for new EMS 2020 file formats

2. Affected Areas:

  1. EMS 2019 file submission

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. Inconsistent length of TaxID was used for EMS 2019 (9 characters) and EMS 2020 (10 characters) file formats.
