Subject: Allow replication of Inventory List records
Summary:

Change Request

Need replication rule that allows Inventory list to be sent from HQ to all sites.

  1. Branches need to be able to review the stock level of a particular branch before making a transfer request.
  2. Branches need to be able to review the stock level before referring customer to their different location. Eg: A Spare parts company has 2 locations, A and B. Customer comes to buy spark plug for tyota belta at location A. If location A does not have it in stock, they should be able to check if it exists in Location B and either refer customer to visit location B or arrange for location B to deliver to location A for pickup.
  3. No need to send any transactions such as sales, adjustments, stock take and Purchases across.
  4. Owner can easily verify last cost of purchase for each location for either of the location not necessarily from HQ.

The following changes will be made:

  1. Remove Rule R1100 as Data flowing into HQ needs to be sent to the OUT Queue. Rules will determine what data in the OUT Queue will be transmitted.
  2. Treat Inventory List as Masterfile information
  3. Create Rule R1130 - Send Masterfiles and Transactions from Headoffice to configured BRANCH/Locations
  4. Create Rule R1140 - Send Masterfiles from Headoffice to configured BRANCH/Locations
  5. If a location is not configured for a branch, do not send location data related data.

We will address customer-specific needs after this change is made.
