Subject: | Add Date From Functionality on the Employee Deduction Statement |
Summary: |
There is a "date from" filter enabled on the Employee Deduction Statement Report but is not functional . Only date to is. See figure 1.1 below. Date from is 01/01/2011 but 2010 data is also displayed. Figure 1.1
This is because the current design does not have opening balance on the report. 2 things can be done. - Disable the From Date and Only have the to date.
- Add opening balance and show transactions only of the selected date range
Test Plan: - Process pay from 01/01/2015 to 31/12/2016 for an employee with deduction FDD in each pay. Generate Report from Year 2011. If design 2 is approved you should only see 2011 deduction
- Verify opening balance.
