Hi Aarti, There isn't much in this case for me to investigate. Can you upload the excel template used?

Hi Aarti,

the problem is to do with Address line 1. Can you limit the address to 50 characters long.

Dear Alvis,

After fixing the address field, I was able to upload data successfully, however, when the excel gives this error “String or binary data would be truncated", the position gets tagged as “active” in the database.

When the position audit report is generated, this active position does not have any corresponding employee entry.

Hi Aarti,

I will change the template to separate residential and postal address, this will resolve the "binary string error".

Can you log a separate case for the customer to data fix the position status?

Development work for this case has been completed. Please note the following:
The change will be available in version: 8.07.024
Documentation update required: No
QA required: Yes
Additional details: The employee sheet only has address 1, address 2 and address3. This address was being populated on the residential and postal address in the database.

We have renamed the sheet to display residential address1/2/3 and will be populated to residential address. Residential address allows upto 255 characters on each field to be uploaded.
