Subject: Issue with configuration "Allow Partial Returns" under POS -> Global
Summary:
1. Explain the issue
  1. There is a configuration under POS --> Global as "Allow Partial Returns".
  2. As per the discussions with Alvis, this configuration disallows users to change the quantity of the items from the original receipt when processing the returns.

  1. Process a sale of item PNT01. Sale quantity equals 3.
  2. Set the configuration to "No" for "Allow Partial Returns"
  3. Load the transaction in 1 above to process the return.
  4. Once the item has been loaded, click on the quantity column.
  5. The "Sales Return" form opens. This is for the users to change the "Quantity to Return".
  6. Edit the quantity from 3 to 1 and click on "Ok".
  7. The system gives an error. Refer to Figure 1.
