Subject: System does not create GL csv file in the new integration system
Summary:    

Bula Alvis,

Testing of the csv file has been performed in the client database but the system did not output the file.

Refer to steps below: 

  1. Upgrade NFA backup
  2. Configured the following in ESS:
    • Activated: GLJournalFile
    • Enabled processes: ESS026 & SYS009
  3. Created FTN pay in Linksoft
  4. Updated Pay
  5. csv file did not output
  6. Error: Could not find stored procedure 'LT_CUSTOM_GeneralLedgerJournal_FileData_NationalFireAuthority'. 

Environment Details:

  1. QA: 3
  2. DB: CLIENT-NFA-LINKSOFT
  3. V: 9.2.4.0.000

Unable to test this case as the GL file is not putting in the demo environment. Reference case: 9135, subject: GL file is not generating in demo database.

I have verified this and the file is created in my environment. Can you re-install your applications and try again.

I have tested this in Beta 925, but the status of the file is still "In Progress"

Environment Details:

  1. Application QA: 3
  2. DB: QA4
  3. DB Name: CLIENT-NFA-LINKSOFT

Configuration:

  1. WebFile: 
    • EnableReportEmailScheduler" value="No" 
    • EnableIntegrationScheduler" value="Yes" 
  2. ESS:
    • Activated: GLJournalFile
    • Enabled processes: ESS026 & SYS009

  • All processes are running
  • There is no error message in regards to this in Event Log

The issue was caused by the time taken for the process to extract file data. This process was taking about 3 minutes to complete which resulted in the timeout in the application.

To resolve this, we have refactored the process to improve performance in the output file and increased the timeout to 300 seconds. This timeout can be changed on the web.config ~> "DataConnectionCommandTimeout" .

Please UAT this in beta6.

System tests completed. The following were verified:

  1. Created a new FTN pay
  2. Verified GL integration report and updated missing GL account codes on paycode maintenance
  3. Updated pay and verified GL Journal entries
  4. Verified CSV file and checked format to be in line with NFA customization.
