Subject: Refresh and standardize ICONS for LinkSOFT Applications
Summary:    

Icons in LinkSOFT application has been used from a nonstandard repository. The purpose of this case is to standardize icons across all applications.

Below is a list of tasks to be completed

  1. Research icons providers for business applications
  2. Provide option to purchase an icon repository that will satisfy the needs of all applications
  3. Icons must have the following properties:
    1. Small footprint
    2. ico, jpg and png formats
    3. have a clear background
    4. Color
    5. Simple format - easy to read on 18  px x 18 px
    6. Full suite of icons with standard names to fit into all menus
  4. Implement changes on PB framework
  5. Implement changes on web framework
  6. Implement changes on DOT NET framework

The following changes have been made:

  1. Identified and implemented a standard set of icons from dev express library
  2. changed all web applications to use icons with clear background with 16x16 pixel.

Verified all Web applications and confirmed that new set of icons are used.
