Hi Sanjeet, can you get answers to the following questions:

  1. Do we change the A4 layout? If so, what is the layout for A4
  2. Does the new format contain all that is required on the receipt?, e.g. Payment methods, change, discounts, barcode
  3. "Normal Sales" title, does this apply to Layby?
  4. Header and Footer layout?
  5. Reprint invoice? where do we show copy?
  6. Fleet details?

Can you do a printout of one example of the following for each paper size?:

  1. Cash sale receipt
  2. Credit sale receipt
  3. Layby sale initial payment
  4. Layby sale - final payment
  5. Quotation
  6. Reprint
  7. Return receipt

Hi Alvis

Response as below in Maroon. One area that FRCS on Layby has not been able to clarify is to Remit Tax Portion on "Layby Amount" of "Payment Amount". They will get back to me next week.

  1. Do we change the A4 layout? If so, what is the layout for A4

FRCS - It is ok to have custom layout of the receipt/invoice, including A4 format as long as all required fields described in the Anatomy of the Fiscal Invoice section are clearly visible including QR code

  1. Does the new format contain all that is required on the receipt?, e.g. Payment methods, change, discounts, barcode

Sanjeet - No it does not contain some crucial information. I have attached required format development

  1. "Normal Sales" title, does this apply to Layby?

FRCS – All sales are normal sale in FRCS books. You can print that information before “============ FISCAL INVOICE ============”or after marker “========= END OF FISCAL INVOICE =========”

  1. Header and Footer layout?

Sanjeet – we can stick to our current layout. Attached samples

  1. Reprint invoice? where do we show copy?

Sanjeet – we can stick to our current layout. Attached samples

  1. Fleet details

FRCS – You can print that information before “============ FISCAL INVOICE ============”or after marker “========= END OF FISCAL INVOICE =========”

Can you do a printout of one example of the following for each paper size?:

Samples Attached

  1. Cash sale receipt
  2. Credit sale receipt
  3. Layby sale initial payment
  4. Layby sale - final payment
  5. Quotation
  6. Reprint
  7. Return receipt

Regards
Sanjeet

UAT Round 1 shows that the Report QR Code deforms when printed on Receipt and A4 paper. This issue has existed in previous versions, however, with the introduction of the QR code, this issue needs to be resolved.

This issue will be available in BETA2

All reports are as per FRCS specification, however, unable to scan QR Code when printed on the 80mm receipt. Fine vertical lines are visible on QR code.

    Hi Sanjeet,

We have printed the receipt on a Thermal printer and compared the output on a high-quality laser printer. Results are in Figure 1 below.

The image appears clearly on the screen as well as on a laser printer. The thermal printer is unable to clearly display the QR Code.

    1. Item 1 - A QR Image is placed on the report and printed to a thermal printer. We are unable to scan this QR code
    2. Item 2 - Receipt print on a Laser printer. We are able to scan this QR code
    3. Item 3 - Receipt print on a thermal printer. We are unable to scan this QR code

Can you discuss this issue with the FRCA team and let us know if they have encountered this in their trial runs.

All Receipts are as per required format. FRCS has agreed and knows that not all QR code will scan to poor quality of thermal papers.
