Summary:    

Issue:
Unable to view the full description of items on "Product Search" menus in Backoffice. The below image Figure 1 is an example;

We have identified the following screens with the same issue;
1. Inventory Adjustment product search
2. Stock Count Entry
3. Transfer
4. Purchase Order Entry product search
5. Receive Purchase

Improvement:
Increase the size of the Description field

Clients Justification:
Almost 90% of there products are of different color and sizes. Therefore identifying with the description is helpful for them.

Hi Sanjay, 

I have verified the case in version 10.1.3.8.

Results

  1. We can not see the full description of the products where the description is more than 50 characters. Tested on all screens mentioned in the case header.
  2. Users cannot use the arrow keys in the field to go to the end of the description.

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version: 10.2

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Increased screen width for Product Search 
  2. Enabled horizontal scroll for product description

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. The horizontal scroll was disabled on the product description
