Status: Closed
Subject: The Product Maintenance Screen should not automatically close when the "save" button is clicked.
Summary:

Dear Team,

In shops, users do not have access to Backoffice, therefore immediate changes to product price are done on the Product Maintenance Screen in POS .

The issue users face is that the screen closes everytime user makes a change and saves. If the price is to be changed for 5 items, the screen needs to be opened 5 times.

The conflict is that the screen has the "Close" and "Red X" button to close the screen, however, it is closing at  "Save".

Improvement

  1. Do not close the Product Maintenance screen at "Save".
  2. Users should be able to make changes to multiple items without the need to of opening the screen after each "Save".
  3. The screen should only close when the user has clicked on the "Close" or "Red" button.
  4. Update screen with shortcuts to open or close screen.
Test Plan
  1. Navigate to Start of Point Sales -- Utilities -- Product Maintenance
  2. Search for product PNT01.
  3. Change the price from $10.00 to $12.50
  4. Click on "Save", the record should be saved. Verify the price on 519 too.
  5. The screen should remain open.
  6. Click "Close" - Screen should close without errors.
  7. Click on the "Red" x - Screen should close without errors.
