Link Reporter is a tool used by users to view crystal reports. It’s a Tool developed by Link Technologies and is provided to our customers with our applications. You still need Crystal Reports Licence to DEVELOP Crystal Reports.

The reason you need Link Reporter is that when you purchase ONE developer licence with crystal reports, you can only install Crystal Reports ONCE. This means that if you want 10 other users to view the report, you have to purchase 10 crystal reports licence.

By using Link Reporter, you do not need to purchase these additional CRYSTAL Reports licence. You simply develop the report in Crystal Reports and use Link Reporter Viewer to publish your reports,

Link Reporter has two versions. If you have an intranet web site, you can use the WEB version which means that you can allow your users to view crystal reports by using your browser.
