Link Backoffice checks computer date format on login. Date format should be set as dd/mm/yyyy. Message on login as:


Steps to perform:

Windows 7

Step 1. Go to Control Panel

Step 2. Region and Language setting

Step 3. Select the format as English (Australia)

Step 4. Change the Short Date format to dd/mm/yyyy

Step 5. Click on Ok

We have enforced this requirement on all machines running Link Payroll, HR and Backoffice products. This is done to prevent any confusions on critical date items such as: Pay Run Date (Payroll), Pay Rate effective date (HR), Shift Date (POS) etc.
