Subject: | LinkPOS JIWA Integration - POS Location, Logical and Physical location issues |
Summary: | Problem Statement: - JIWA has Physical and Logical Inventory Locations
- POS allows a sale to happen in multiple locations
- The sale currently integrates into JIWA Sales order by using the location defined in the "Sales Order Integration" rules
- The problem is that inventory is reduced from the incorrect location is the user sells an item in POS from a location outside the location configured in Sales order
The following change needs to be made to correct the issue: - Rename the Sales Order Configuration rule for "Warehouse" to state that this is only used when the inventory system is managed in LinkSOFT
- When Inventory is maintained in JIWA, the following rules need to be applied:
- POS Configuration settings "Can Change Header location" and "Show Location in POS Grid" must be Disabled
- When creating the sales order, use the Sales Order JIWA Warehouse details from the POS Header/POS Order Lines as this will have only one warehouse per POS Order
