Subject: LinkPOS JIWA Integration - POS Location, Logical and Physical location issues
Summary:

Problem Statement:

  1. JIWA has Physical and Logical Inventory Locations
  2. POS allows a sale to happen in multiple locations
  3. The sale currently integrates into JIWA Sales order by using the location defined in the "Sales Order Integration" rules
  4. The problem is that inventory is reduced from the incorrect location is the user sells an item in POS from a location outside the location configured in Sales order

The following change needs to be made to correct the issue:

  1. Rename the Sales Order Configuration rule for "Warehouse" to state that this is only used when the inventory system is managed in LinkSOFT
  2. When Inventory is maintained in JIWA, the following rules need to be applied:
    1. POS Configuration settings "Can Change Header location" and "Show Location in POS Grid" must be Disabled
    2. When creating the sales order, use the Sales Order JIWA Warehouse details from the POS Header/POS Order Lines as this will have only one warehouse per POS Order
