They get the below error
Cannot create "Recruitment Applicant Profile" as the "User" already exists in this company. Company Code: 1001, Username: test001, Employee Code: TEST001

Bula Team,

The following test has been done;
  1. Created Employee in Company 1001
    1. Employee ID: TEST001
  2. Login to Company 1001
  3. Click on the menu "Recruitment -> Vacancy Applications" - loads successfully
  4. Login to Company 1002
  5. Click on the menu "Recruitment -> Vacancy Applications" - an error message appears

Environment details;

  1. URL - https://www.linktechnologies.com.au/LinkSOFT-FijianHoldings
  2. Version - 15.10.231129.GA

We will get our technical team to diagnose further and advise.

We have resolved the issue of the error in version 15.10.231205.

Further testing will be done over the next few days to ensure all areas of RM are compliant.

The below error appears when we log in to Company 1002 and click on "Recruitment -> Vacancy Applications"

The current design links the Employee to the User account; therefore, we are getting errors when an Employee uses their "user profile" to apply for a vacancy in another company. 

The workaround is to ask employees to create a new User Profile for applying for vacancies in other companies. 

The development team will look at changing the design to ignore the "Employee Context" until the employee is ready to be "employed" in another company. 

We will have to consider how to map a user account to Multiple Employees since in this scenario, a User Profile can now be linked to multiple employees.

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version: 15.10.231208

2. The following changes were made (Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Added change to allow Employees to become an Applicant in another company on the same database.
  2. When the Employee logs in to apply for a position, the "Applicant Details" get copied from the "Employee Profile"

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Recruitment Management - Employee Applies for a vacancy in another company

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Design Change
