Subject: The new version of POS disables the navigation buttons whilst entering medications to Prescriptions.
Summary:    
Case to be resolved as per the development meeting 24/04/2017 with Sanjay, Alvis, Vineet ,   Sanjeet and Rashna

1. Description:

a. The navigation keys are disabled when 'Add Medication' is clicked while entering a Prescription. If a prescription has two medication; the user is unable to navigate between the two, user has to close the prescription entry screen and reopen for the buttons to be functional. 

b. Similarly, if there are multiple lines in a prescription and one line is void, users are unable to make changes to the existing active lines as system prompts a message that changes cannot be made to a void prescription. User has to again close prescription entry and reopen in order to make changes to the active prescription lines.

2. Environment Details
Version 8010 GA

3. Steps to recreate for scenario B
a. Create new prescription.
b. Enter first medication details, Click Save
c. Enter second medication details, Click Save
d.
d. Void item in b above.
e. Go to the next item changes and ability to void is disabled.

4. Current Behaviour for scenario B
  1. After voiding an item on a prescription, if user clicks on next via next navigation button, user is unable to void the next item.
  2. The Void button is disabled 
  3. Users have to close the prescription and load it again to void the next item.
  4. If there are 3 items to void, step 3 has to be done 3 items. This is not user friendly.
5. Expected Behaviour 

a. Navigation keys are not be disabled.
b..User should be able to void multiple items for a prescription with the need of reloading the prescription

Hi Fariha,

The prescription entry screen has been redesigned to allow for more functionalities.

You can "Load Prescription" and then use navigation button to view prescriptions that were created.

I have tested "Load Prescription" and it is working fine.

The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Navigation buttons are now enabled after the 2nd prescription is saved.
  2. After Voiding the 1st prescription users can now VOID the 2nd prescription by using the navigation button to go to the next prescription.
  3. TAB on doctor code now loads the doctor. If the code is not found then doctor lookup screen is loaded.
