1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):|

  1. Changed the alert to verify if any entries are in the log before sending the email alert.

2. The issue was caused by:

  1. The email alert was not checking for entries in the log before sending the email.

    Hi Alvis, 

    I have tested the case. However, the log message alert is not sent. The status reads "READY" in the "LT_SYS_MSG_Notifications" table. 

    The following has been done.

    1. Set the system mode to "Live"
    2. Set " System.Administrator.EmailAddress" to "vineshwar@linktechnologies.com.au" 
    3. Enabled Process SYS005.
    4. Set the to address as "rashna@linktechnologies.com.au" on the process
    5. Verified that the EmailSechedular is enabled in POSWeb config file.

    • Version 9400 Beta 3
    • Database  - LINKSOFT on QA1
    • Application on QA1
    • URL - http://10.0.0.11/POS
    • OS - Windows 7

    Hi Rashna,

    The message notification shows the entry is created under ESS. You need to configure ESS web.cofig to allow for emails to be sent.
