Subject: Inventory Valuation Report shows incorrect data when 'Freight' is used in Transfers
Summary:    
1. Problem Details

When we do a Transfer of an Inventory item from Location 1 to Location 2 and include Fright cost, the Product Master Screen (519) is updated however the Inventory Valuation Report does not include the cost of Freight on Location 2.

4. Relevant History Information

The issue can be reproduced by performing the following:
  1. Create a new Inventory Item
  2. Add Location 1 and Location 2
  3. Update SOH on Location 1 via Inventory Adjustment
  4. Perform a Transfer from location 1 to location 2 and include Freight Cost
  5. 519 is updated with Cost (cost + freight) on Location 2 
  6. Inventory Valuation report does not update location 2's Cost (cost + freight). It remains with Locations1's cost.

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:11.004

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Added field "UnitCostIncludingFreight" to table "LBS_XFER_DET". 
  2. This field is calculated and updated when a transfer is received
  3. Changed Cost procedures and functions to use "UnitCostIncludingFreight" for Transfer IN 

2. Affected Areas:

  1. Transfer request, submit, receive with freight - Check for valuation figures
  2. Transfer request, submit, receive without freight - Check for valuation figures
  3. Inventory movement reports will show the cost including freight

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. UnitCostIncludingFreight was not captured and not implemented in inventory movement.
