Subject: Incorrect leave "Date To" when leave is approved
Summary:    

The system incorrectly updates the "Date To" when leave is approved.

The issue can be replicated by:

  1. In Company 1001 - Create a leave application from 01/12/2020 to 07/12/2020. The Transaction ID is: LE000001
  2. Switch to company 1002 - create a leave application from 01/01/2021 to 15/01/2021. The Transaction ID is: LE000001
  3. Switch to company 1001 and approve the leave application. System changes the "date to" to "15-01-2021".

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:12.22 & 12.30

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Changed the leave split process to correctly allocate the date based on company and transaction id combination.

2. Affected Areas:

  1. Leave Approval - Split leave into pay periods

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. Leave split process was missing company filter when extracting data for leave dates.
