Summary:    
1. Description:
Missing Data from Branch and Available at HQ for a particular location is not Picked in POS Transaction Compare Data Batch. The below setting was done to test this comparison.

HQ Server: LINKQA1
HQ Database: LINKSOFTHQ
HQPOSWeb: 10.0.0.11\POS-HQ

Branch Server: LinkQA4
Branch Database: LINKSOFTBRANCH2
BranchPOSWeb: 10.0.0.14\POS-Branch
Location: MAIN

 

Steps to recreate
a. Deleted the below transactions relating to MAIN location from the Branch Server from Table LBS_POS_Order and LBS_POS_OrderDetail:
  • B2TX0000000004
  • B2TX0000000007
b. Create a batch with Table Type as Transaction and Compare Group Name as POS. Comparison was completed and these 2 transactions were not picked as Missing
c. I verified on the HQ DB and these transactions did exist at HQ.

4. Current Behaviour:

Transactions relating to a particular branch missing from that branch is not identified by the Compare data for POS Transactions batch

5. Expected Behaviour:

If a transaction is missing for a particular location and exists at Branch, it should be identified as missing and user should be able to receive these updates from HQ

QA for product and Patch Releases
Step 1 - Developer to system test changes until not issues are found - Alvis and Sanjay to sign off on System Test
Step 2 - Product expert allocated by Consulting Manager for Product QA.
               Consulting Manager to allocate resource
               Consulting Manager to sign off on UAT and Generic Test

STEP 1 - DETAILS OF QA can be entered in case comments. Summary to be maintained in the table below.

Table 1 - Summarised list of issues

WORKFLOW:

  1. Original case assigned to Development
  2. When the product is ready for release, System test details are entered into comments and the CASE HEADER Table updated.
  3. If system test passes, assign case to Consulting Manager for UAT
  4. If UAT Passes, Assign case for Documentation or close case
