Subject: Some BackOffice lookups does not work properly when search characters are entered before lookup is opened
Summary:    

Some BackOffice lookups do not work properly when search characters are entered before lookup is opened.

1. To re-proceduce the issue, perform the following:

  1. Using 8.11 GA and LINKSOFT-DEMO database
  2. Open employee profile (321)
  3. Goto country field and type "FI" and TAB.
  4. A popup opens
  5. Double-click on FIJI
  6. Popup closes and cursor returns to country field

2. Problems:

  1. On 1.4 above we expect the "FI" to be in the search filter and results filtered by "FI". This did not happen.
  2. Item 1.6 above, the popup should return the correct value to the parent form.
  3. This issue occurs in several forms
  4. Some fields that are lookup, does not open a lookup. example lookup "STATE" in menu 321.

3. To resolve the issue we need the following:

  1. Get a list of forms and fields where the lookup is not working. Example: Menu 321, tab1, country
  2. Assign case to development to make the corrections.
  3. QA and release.
