Subject: Emails are not being sent to the assigned user when cases are created from the Projects menu
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay,

When a task is created under projects in Helpdesk and saved, the assigned user does not have a email alert.

This could because, under the notifications tabs of the case, the assigned users details are not populated.

This has been tested in the demo database in v8009.

Refer to steps below:

  1. Create a new project or expand an existing project.
  2. Click on green plus button and create a task.
  3. Complete all required details and save.
  4. Task created successfully.
  5. No emails received.
  6. Open this case.
  7. The notifications tab is blank (although the case is assigned to a user who has their email address entered) - Refer to image below:

Note: all necessary configurations are enabled but email was not triggered.
