Subject: Enable Role Access on the "Submit" button on the Timesheet menu.
Summary:

Hi Sanjay,

Please note, the system allows users to have access to the timesheet screen for viewing their time.

There is one hiccup on this screen, as users also get access to the "Submit" button.

This is a concern for some clients as although users are advised not to play around with the  "Submit" button, users end up submitting their time entries.

Refer to the following scenario:

  1. User Sanjay is an employee.
  2. He has the access to the "Timesheet" screen.
  3. He can also see the submit button.
  4. He clicks on the button.
  5. The entry is completed.

Requesting if a control can be placed on this button to forbid users from submitting their time entries as this is the job of the approvers.

Change request - Add an access control for the "submit button" on the timesheet screen.

Regards
Aarti.
