Subject: LinkSOFT API for Time And Attendance required HRM licence to maintain TNA Devices
Summary:    

Customers using Remote TNA devices require a "SYS and HRM" licence in order to maintain TNA devices. we need to remove the dependency on HRM licence.

To achieve this, we need to move TNA Device setup into the Integration menu.

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:12.52.0819

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Removed TNA Device Setup from "Time Management Menu"
  2. Added TNA Device setup into "Integration ~> Integration Setup" menu Group
  3. Added Device Migration for upgrades
  4. Transfer TNA processing code to use the Integration framework elements

3. Affected Areas:

  1. TNA Device Setup
  2. "Integration ~> Integration Setup" TNA Devices
  3. Integration and Processing TNA

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Streamline Licences required for TNA customers

5. Other Relevant Notes

  1. Existing Customers who have a TNA licence will be converted to API licence.
  2. E.g 1 - A customer has a Headoffice Payroll server, and "one" REMOTE TNA device. If they want to send the remote TNA data to head office, they will need to do the following:
    1. Setup a LinkSOFT database on the Remote TNA Terminal. You need 1 x "SYS" and 1 x "API" licence for this terminal
    2. Configure the TNA device in menu "Integration ~> Integration Setup" to integrate to the TNA device
    3. Configure the API to send data from the Remove LinkSOFT database to the Head Office LinkSOFT payroll database. The Head Office server will need an API licence
  3. E.g 2: If a customer has one head office Payroll server and Two Branch TNA Devices, they will need:
    1. For Head Office - 1 x SYS licence, 1 x API Licence and {ActiveEmployees} x HRM Employee Licences
    2. For Each TNA Location - 1 x SYS and 1 x API

6. Next Step (Review and System Test (Developer) -> UAT (Quality) -> Documentation): UAT followed by Documentation Changes
