Subject: Issues with menu 454-1 Applicant Profile
Summary:    

Hi Sanjay, 

I have tested the case in QA1 with version 812 Beta 3.

Below are the issues.

  1. When creating an applicant profile, the date of birth is not validated. Users can save birth date as 00/00/0000. This causes Roll Back error in ESS when viewing interviews.
  2.  The screen does not validate the "Ethnic" field. If users have not entered the Ethnic, applicant profile is not saved. The next number sequence breaks. Refer to image below.

The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. The save was unsuccessful because of the date of birth not entered and ethnic field left blank.
  2. The following were done to resolve this issue:
    1. Added validation to check for null in date of birth
    2. removed * from the Ethnic field

 The Date of birth is validated, applicant profile is not saved if the date of birth is 00/00/0000 and also if the date of birth is set as the current day date.

Ethnic is now not a required field. Applicant profile is successfully saved without selecting the ethnicity.
