Subject: | Modify "REC-Applicant" to "DefaultUser" for clarity. |
Summary: | Users can set the default role of an employee created through the process "ESS002 - Automatically create/disable ESS login for employees created/terminated in payroll". Steps to Replicate - Set the default role to "Employee" for process ESS002.
- Enable process
- Create a new employee in BO.
- Validate the user roles for the employee in Link Web. The employee has been created with roles "Employee and REC-Applicant". As per the discussion with Alvis "REC- Applicant" is the default role assigned to any new user.
Concerns - Since the role is prefixed as "REC" consultants are unclear why an employee is given RM access.
- If a user has set a role under process ESS002, why has the system added a role for "REC- Applicant".
Therefore, we need to modify the default role to "Default User" to make things clear. For review and design discussion |
